After rigorous testing on patios, porches, pools, decks, and folding chairs, the PATIO GROOVES playlist is back, and better than ever (I mean it this time).

For the newcomers: every season, your esteemed curator emerges from his listening cave to share what’s been in heavy rotation lately.

The playlist has a few requirements: every song had to feel at home on a summer afternoon, and every song has to be something I could hear repeatedly without getting sick of it by Labor Day.

The result is 33⅓ tracks spanning 50+ years of music, with roughly half released within the last year. Sunny grooves, deep cuts, and a bunch of future classics.
